2/3 visits waited over an hour. Rescheduled first visit. Left practice second time. 11 seats in waiting room 3-7 people leaning against the wall when seats full. Most in pain since this is an ortho practice. Called and left message twice to set time to pick up my records. No one returned call. Large sign in waiting for months about their move to another facility. Letters sent as well. Went to the new facility to pick up my records beyond the move date. They never moved. As an RN I am appalled at their lack of regard for their patients. In my opinion they have a factory going there with unacceptable overbooking. Their staff admitted as much. MARY T. MAZZARELLA BSN . RN.

If you have not given this practice a chance in the last 6 months, please reconsider. The new Andover office across from the IRS building in Andover is beautiful, modern and efficient with the latest imaging equipment for and have not had the wait times seen at the old offices. There are surgeons of all specialties with top training and can handle all of your orthopedic and rheumatologic needs. I have been going to orthopedics Northeast for 2 years with Dr. Thakur for a spine issue. As a lifelong area resident I wanted to find quality local orthopedic care. I am also a healthcare professional and believe strongly in only referring patients, family members, and friends to people I would trust with my own care. If you talk to anyone there are so many opinions about what is the best care. Hands down, Dr. Thakur is the best spine physician I have seen including the ones at the large Boston Hospitals. He will take on complicated cases some of them will not attempt to treat. Excellent diagnostician, personable and will explain things in a language that is easily understood. He will put together imaging and patient's symptoms and quickly diagnoses the problem and gives all the options for treatment. He also works with Dr. Palma and Dowd, both physiatrists who specialize in non-operative treatment and they are both extremely good and skilled with injections, various other non-operative treatment options. When surgery is needed, technically Dr. Thakur is the best.

I was scheduled at 9:30, asked to arrive 30 minutes prior for paperwork. Showed up at 9am and saw the Doctor at 11. The appointment lasted less than 8 minutes and he had zero idea why I was there. I had an x-ray to show him and a diagnosis. He ignored my complaint and told me that the finding was incidental, but, he could offer me spine injections! I am not sure how he came to that conclusion based on no examination and not listening to my answers.

I work on a regular basis with Dr. Thakur's patients during their post-op care, and I'm continually impressed with how often they have great things to say about Dr. Thakur as a person, and their relief from their experience with him as a surgeon. I have spent more than an hour of time with well over a hundred of his patients over the last couple years, and the overwhelming majority have had nothing but good things to say about their experience with Dr Thakur and Orthopaedics Northeast.

Does not listen, does not read the paperwork they ask you to fill out and makes you wait forever. Once I receive my MRI, I will be going to a practice that respects your time and listens when they ask questions!

Dr. Harder is the man ! I'm a 55 year old with knees beyond there years anyway I recently injured my knee and Dr Harder made it feel like I'm thirty again so I could put off the replacement until I'm really old lol, yes you wait because everyone wants these Dr's Dr Choi and Andreola are top notch as well both treated me for various injuries to give this practice a bad review for an office wait is just wrong people I'm sure there's no wait for other orthopedic practices cause everyone wants these Dr's people wake up anyway thx so much Dr Harder u r the man!!!
